i was a customer since 2005 and I closed my account in july 2009 due to 1 mistake that was made on my account. due to this mistake i was asked by the branch manager of peter kostka and the teller tammy to close out my account due to this 1 time mistake and even though i was a customer with there bank for 4 years that did not matter to them. so I closed out my account as well as my husbands and any negative amount on my account was paid in full with the teller and the bank manager and a receipt stateing there was a zero balance on my account and the account was closed out. several months later a get a letter from them stateing i owed them still $10.00 which was not correct and when i called them up to rectify this over the phone there answer was they made a mistake and clearly the account was up to date and i owed not further money and to disregard the letter. several months went by and I opened up a bank account somewhere else. I then learned from this bank that union bank had reported me to telecheck and it was not only humiliating to me to say the least but very unprofessional on there part at union bank and basically I was glad i went somewhere else for my banking needs. I want to say they lie and do not treat customer's fairly and are very unprofessional when it comes to customer's and helping them rectify mistakes with them in person. they are very unprofessional and i am very dissatisfied at how they handled closeing out my account and i feel that even though i went it person and spoke with and did the transaction with the branch manager and one of there teller's that they are not honest people and they should not be working at that bank.they have the worst customer service and the worst employees i have ever dealt with in a professional manner. I feel that they have lost and will loose alot of customer's due to the way they conduct business. I am so glad i went somewhere else and i am sorry i ever entrusted my hard earned money with them in the first place and i regret that i did not take my business sooner as this mistake would of never happened at another bank due to they number 1 priority at my new bank is the customer and satisfying there banking needs!
