SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!!
I also fell trap to the additional charges. The product does not do what they claim at all and it gets dangerously hot enough to burn or start a fire. I tried returning it twice, only to have it sent back to me both times and they have charged me close to $300.00. American Express is now investigating the additional charges while I try to get my refund on the original charges but I have very little hope on seeing a dime from them. To add insult to injury, I stopped them from charging me again by putting a hold on my card and having Amex issue me a new one... now they are sending me notices from a collection agency called "Express Response". I believe this is a fake company because the phone number listed (866-441-4728) gives you this strange message then hangs up on you, however the notice is asking you to mail in your credit card information to pay the past due balance or they will commence with full collection activities which are listed as: Placement with a National Collection Agency, Reporting your delinquent status to a credit bureau and Review other alternatives to recover funds due (whatever that means.) I have tried contacting the company repeatedly and each time I am told they will credit my account and stop the billing, however they have failed to do this after 4 months. I'm disturbed by the report on BBB saying they are within compliance of all known laws... how is that possible???
