I called my home warranty company about an electrical problem with my new house. Southern California Electrical Services was contacted to repair/solve the problem. The electrican that was sent out looked at my living room and said I overloaded the fuse and thats why it blew. He never checked to see if the fuse was bad or weak. He never pulled out any sort of testing equipment to justify his claim. He treated me like a stupid homeowner. After the fuse blew again and again, I called another licensed contractor who actually pulled out some testing equipment and told me the fuse is weak and should be replaced along with some other fuses that looked bad or could go bad. We are talking about a $12 part. I would never allow these people to look at any part of my house again.
