I promptly received my credit report, but had a similar experience with their so called customer service. I sent 3 emails explicitly stating to cancel my account immediately so I could avoid the $14.95 fee. I called as well, and after being on hold for 27 minutes, began speaking with a representative. I asked her to cancel my account, which she did. I made it very clear that I did not want my account charged and she said that it would not be. This was one week ago and I'm wishing I had her statement in writing because I just got charged $14.95. I do not recommend www.nationalcreditreport.com to ANYONE!!! It seems that their "free" credit report implies that they will charge your account regardless of your actions.
