This customer purchased a spa from us on 5/6/08. The original order was for a spa with Redwood colored synthetic siding. On 5/13/08 the customer came into our office and changed his order from Redwood colored siding to Tan. The change order was put in writing and the customer got a new copy of his invoice. When the customer came to pick up his spa, months later than he agreed to, from our warehouse he checked the spa and got upset, saying that he was supposed to get an Espresso colored siding. We talked with him and he admitted to having a copy of the revised invoice which indicated the change order of the siding color to Tan. We said that the spa was already made per his request to Tan and he would have to pay to change the color of the siding. We ended up working with the customer and he paid a reduced rate to change the color of the siding. At LifeSpas we take pride in giving customers what they purchased, but like most companies, after a product is made to customer’s specifications, there may be a charge to change the order.
