I had a very satisfactory business transaction with Mark, the owner. I test drove a 1997 BMW 328i with about 97K miles on it. He said he put new tires, a tuneup and an alignment on the car before offering it for sale.
He was very knowledgeable about the features of the car and was happy to accommodate me on a vehicle inspection (including engine compression test) at a AAA-licensed repair shop. The shop we ended up going to gave a very positive report on the car, except that the rear brakes were in need of replacement. When I reported that to Mark, he discounted the price to help conpensate.
The car drives beautifully and is mechanically very sound. Perfect paint, excellent interior, everything works, and he had a free CarFax report on it handy, as well.
The transaction was completed smoothly, and his detail man washed and waxed it before I took off for home (50 miles away). Mark graciously allowed me to park my old car on his lot overnight to be picked up the next day. I don't think I could have had better treatment, cooperation and service from any used car dealer.
