I'm so thankful for the staff there at Homeowner Defense Group. My family was struggling with the mortgage payments and given the run-around from our lender for over a year. Bank of America promised us that our loan would be modified and that our payments would be lowered several times. However, every couple of months they would call and ask for updated financial documents. The bank rep also told us that their "investor", needed us to be behind on the payments in order to modify. When we called Homeowner Defense Group, we were 12 months behind on our payments, and the lender had already planned to sell the property in a foreclosure sale. During that year we got many calls from companies claiming that they would modify our loan and spent thousands of dollars with no results. Our family was falling apart, and all the stress created additional problems (loss of sleep, sadness, fighting, etc.). Homeowner Defense Group not only saved my home and gave me more financial freedom, they also saved my marriage and my family. After fighting with Bank of America for over a year with no results, they stepped in and negotiated a 2.75% rate, and put equity back in our home.
