Fake GLASS RUBIES NO LONGER TRUSTWORTHY
|
I have had a very similar experience as the other reviewer, and it's baffling. Over the last few years I spent tens of thousands of dollars on jewelry from Mr. Bond. I felt confident that we had a great business relationship, until several months ago when my Gemsbond nightmare started. I ordered two rings one a Star Sapphire and the other a Burma ruby which if you watch the show they claim all their stones to be completely authentic and they would never lower themselves to ever sale fake or filled stones. Further they go on and on how hard it is to get Burma stones and how special they are to have them. Well in my experience they don't! First I waited months after paying getting the same run around from Mr. Bond that they were being shipped, in the Mail, etc. Finally after three months I got one of the rings I ordered, the Burma. I NEVER got the other ring. I mistakenly trusted since previous jewelry I had purchased was authentic that this ruby was as well and I gave it as a gift to my mother-in-law with impeccable taste. She had the ring appraised to find the stone was mostly RED GLASS or a composite stone worth NOTHING! I am so mortified and embarrassed. But mostly SHOCKED. I never dreamed this organization would stoop so low selling WORTHLESS STONES under the lie of being authentic! So one ring I paid for and never got the other is worthless fake. Mr. Bond stopped taking my calls and completely ignored my requests for refund. So I know I am out of luck with this GLASS FAKE RUBY. He once was a reputable good jewelry source now virtually a criminal and it's all shameful and sad. If he would even act like he cares or respond at all but he hasn't interest in retaining customers. I believe this company cannot last long doing business like this so I would warn ANYONE CONSIDERING BUYING DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
