Do NOT do business with these people. I made arrangements with them to move my belongings and gave them an original load date of 1/29 with a back up of 1/30. I had to be out of the house I was living by 1/31 as it had been rented and the new tenants were to move in on 2/1. On 1/29 no one had called to schedule an appointment so I called Federal several times throughout the day and finally got in touch with Anthony after leaving messages for Keith and Anthony. At 4:45 PM on 1/29 I finally got Anthony to answer the phone who told me that they would be there to load on 1/30. At 7 PM on 1/29 I get another call saying they won't be there on 1/30 that they would be there on 1/31. They FINALLY showed up at 10 PM on 1/31 so my boyfriend and I had to help them load so that we could be gone by 2/1. The damaged my furniture. The broke my china cabinet door, crushed an end table that was made of marble, broke a picture, broke my headboard to my bedroom suit, scratched and dented most of dining room suit (which has been in the family for SEVERAL generations). I e mailed pictures of the damage to Keith immediately and as of 2/24 have NOT gotten a response to my request to have my furniture fixed or given any money so that I can at least get it fixed. The second group of movers told me that the first moves did such a bad job packing my stuff that that was the reason why so much of it was broken. I have filed a claim with the BBB and started dispute resolution via Paypal. If you are in the market for quality movers, DO NOT USE FEDERAL MOVING SYSTEMS. I DO NOT GIVE THEM 3 STARS, I WOULDN'T GIVE THEM ANY BUT THE WEBSITE WON'T CHANGE TO LESS THAN 3.
