Working with Barbara at EuropeByAir has been a delightful experience. I purchased a couple of one-way tickets from EBA back in 2001, and I was convinced that the price was too-good-to-be-true. I kept waiting to have problems, but the tickets arrived in the mail quickly and I had no trouble using them overseas (in Rome and Croatia). I arrived at the airports early in order to pay the local taxes (and expecting that there might be problems)... but it was always a breeze. At the time, local taxes were only $5-10... but they have gone up in recent years with the fuel surcharges, etc. (Barbara gave me estimates of around $50 and $55 for each of the flights that I booked this year. -- If you want an estimate before purchasing, you can call the office. Even factoring in the higher local taxes, the ticket prices were still far below what I could find elsewhere.)
After my first good experience, I looked to EBA once again this year for my summer 2010 plans, and once again found great tickets -- much cheaper than I could find elsewhere. Barbara was a terrific help. I called the office several times (after booking online on the EBA website), and Barbara always remembered exactly who I was. She was a pleasure to work with. I made several ticket purchases with days in between, and Barbara kindly held the tickets at my request so that I could save on delivery charges by bundling them into one package. I recommend EuropeByAir to all of my friends. It makes traveling within Europe so manageable -- flights are often cheaper than trains and MUCH MUCH faster!
