My experience is favorable with this company. The work was done as represented, the servicemen were on time, polite, and efficient, and the house furnace and air conditioner work perfectly, with clean air for the first time in 55 years since the house was built. What a major improvement, especially for me with my allergies!
The telemarketing lady set up an appointment for Feb. 28, called me the day before to remind me, and the two servicemen were right on time at 3:00 p.m. on Feb. 28. After inspecting the ductwork in the attic and confirming that there was not asbestos and the R-30 sealing tape would hold vacuum without damage, they used a powerful vacuum device to pull out the dust from the ducts. Then they showed me how the very dusty, dirty heater blower needed cleaning. For a reasonable additional amount, they professionally removed and thoroughly cleaned the blower, vane by vane, and put it back in.
They recommended placing an additional fine-dust, washable filter on top of the free-flowing basic heater filter, so we used one I had previously bought. One point of confusion was that they left the heater's original retainer wire outside, up against the wall, in a planter -- there was not room for it over the extra filter. (It holds down the basic filter.)
The next day I found that the air flow was too restricted by the extra filter, so I removed it and called to locate my retainer wire. They responded the same day when I called their main number, (866) 606-1110, and put me in direct contact by telephone with the man who did the work. The following day he directed me outside to where the assistant had left it, up against the wall, in a planter. Duct cleaning for (8) vents was as represented, for $120, plus $304 for professional removal, cleaning, and reinstallation of the blower.
Considering all, I feel that this is reasonable, and I am very happy with this company's work and advice on a heater system that is 55 years old and with an air conditioner that was added 33 years ago. Their work was professional, and they did respond in a timely and effective way to my request to locate the part that was set aside.
